A new AI chat assistant for rule clarifications and hero strategy — currently in Beta.
The Oracle is a new chat assistant, available from the home page.
Rules: Ask about official rules and card interactions — answers are grounded in the official Guards of Atlantis II rulebook (2nd Printing) and each hero's exact action card data.
Strategy: Ask how to play or counter a specific hero, or about general concepts like card colors, the minion wave, and push potential — drawing on community strategy guides written by the Guards of Atlantis community on BoardGameGeek.
For anything the rulebook and guides don't cover, it can also pull relevant context from the official Guards of Atlantis II Discord's history — house rules, past rulings, running jokes.
The Oracle doesn't have access to match history, MMR, or player stats — use the rest of the app for those.
Privacy: This chat is private — we don't log or save your conversations.
Speed: The Oracle runs on a free AI model, so replies can take up to 45 seconds.

Badge Rewards
Completing a badge now grants an ongoing perk, not just a one-time celebration.
Each badge now grants its owner a passive reward once fully earned, on top of the celebration when it's completed:
Base: Gain a second vote in Ranked Balance team-split voting. Your two votes can't go to the same option.
Arcane: For you, a hero nobody has played in the last 5 games counts as a bounty hero (instead of the usual 7).
Wayward: Bounty heroes grant you 7 MMR instead of 5 when played.
Devoted: Lose 3 MMR less whenever you lose.
Defiant: If you win, you and your team gain 1 extra MMR. If you lose, your opponents gain 1 less MMR.
Renowned: Gain 2 extra MMR whenever you win.
The Hero Compendium's Bounty Heroes section now also shows a separate Arcane Bounty Heroes group, for heroes that only qualify under the shorter 5-game window.

Badge MMR Bonus Removed
Completing a badge is no longer worth extra MMR on top of the usual result.
The flat MMR bonus for completing a badge (below) has been removed. Badges are still earned and shown on your profile the same way, and the win that completes one still gets the usual first-hero-win 30% boost.

Profile Cover Photos
Personalize your profile page with a custom cover photo.
Tap the Cover button on your profile page to upload a banner image, displayed behind your avatar the same way a hero's banner art is shown on its page.
File Types: Any image format is accepted, including animated GIFs.
Size Limit: Up to 8MB per upload.

Collectible Badges
Win with every hero in a badge's set to earn it — and a bonus.
Each badge covers a hero pack. Winning at least one match with every hero in a badge earns it, along with a flat MMR bonus on top of the usual result:
Base: +75 MMR (7 heroes)
Arcane: +50 MMR (5 heroes)
Wayward: +50 MMR (5 heroes)
Devoted: +50 MMR (5 heroes)
Defiant: +50 MMR (5 heroes)
Renowned: +50 MMR (5 heroes)
Winning with a hero for the first time also grants a 30% MMR boost on that match's gain.

Redesigned Match Details
A clearer breakdown of what happened before, during, and after each battle.
Each battle's detail page is now organised into distinct sections instead of one long list:
Pre-Match: Draft method, starting wave and life counters, and the win probability, shown together before the result.
Post-Match: Wave counter(s) and each team's life counter(s) remaining.
Teams: Each roster, hero picks, and MMR change.

Rank Protection
Ranks are now protected against unearned overtakes.
A lower-ranked player may overtake a higher-ranked player only if at least one of the following conditions is met:
Direct Defeat: The lower-ranked player defeats the higher-ranked player in the current match.
Player Inactivity: The higher-ranked player has not participated in any of the last four (4) matches.
Match Absence: The higher-ranked player loses a match in which the lower-ranked player did not participate.
The leaderboard reflects this with two icons:
Shield
Shown next to a protected player, alongside a countdown of games remaining before they become inactive and lose that protection.
Sword
Shown next to a player who has higher MMR than the player ranked above them but has not yet met the conditions required to overtake that rank.

Bounty Heroes
Underutilised heroes now yield additional MMR upon selection.
To promote hero pool diversity, selecting any hero that has remained unpicked for seven (7) or more consecutive matches awards a +5 MMR bonus.
The full list of eligible Bounty Heroes is available on the Hero Compendium page.

Draw Outcomes
Matches can now be recorded as a draw.
Matches may now be recorded with a draw outcome when neither side achieves a clear victory, rather than requiring a forced win or loss.
A draw awards a flat +10 MMR to every participating player, regardless of team.

Captain's Draft
A new way to split teams: draft your squad pick by pick.
Captain's Draft joins Random and Balanced as a third way to split the player pool into teams:
Choose Captains: Select one captain per team, or randomize the selection.
Snake Draft: Captains take turns picking from the remaining pool, with pick order reversing each round, until every player is assigned.
Begin the Battle: Once the draft is complete, proceed directly to recording the match.
